I don't really know. I guess there could be a mouse over that launches a different page but it all seems to be an interactive flash movie imbedded on that one page.
You know, it's great design (love that Flash!), but I just don't see the point. It just doesn't seem useful or usable to me. If you have to move your mouse to the target anyway, it's not like clicking is that taxing. Plus, given touchpad mouses (mice?), there would be a lot of misfires, which would lead to much user frustration. And for someone like me, with carpal tunnel, I'm not sure that I could master the required movements to be as efficient as I am when I click -- at least not with damage. Point and click works, and for lots of people, so I'm not sure of the need to change it as a method of selection.
I'm much more interested in unique interfaces with tools other than the mouse, especially for handicapped persons. I think that's really where the future lies.
When and where did you first hear about this?
ReplyDeleteI love not having to click.
Is there more to it than just that one page?
