I am tired of lugging my heavy laptop around when I travel. Thinking of getting a netbook, but have little money. What are your thoughts? -- The Dell mini in purple is awesome ;) --
I got a ASUS Eee PC 1000HE in March 2009 and added memory (2 GB total). It's quite adequate for browsing, PowerPoints, Outlook. Love the small size and weight for traveling; you don't hesitate throwing it in a backpack.
thanks steve. I basically want it for internet browsing/social networks. Just not sure I can justify the money just for that... but really don't want to carry my laptop around.
