Does the GOP really think that women are stupid enough to vote for any woman (even a conservative, pro-life woman) if they can't vote for Hillary? IMO this is the dumbest move for McCain. Not only is this a shallow ploy to lure women voters, but it has the potential to alienate his base (i,e., Dan et al).
"He cannot say any more that Barack Obama doesn't have the experience to be commander in chief when he chooses a woman whose signature achievement two years ago was that they won an award from the National Arbor Day Foundation," a Democratic operative said"
But as for that VP talk all the time, I'll tell you, I still can't answer that question until somebody answers for me what is it exactly that the VP does everyday?
WOW...you guys are bitter ;-D I love it! She’s Smart, Beautiful, Tough as Nails AND has experience managing the DAILY welfare of a city and a State….which is more then NObama can claim! Additionally; she has proven throughout her “political” career that she’s willing to stand up for her values and those of her constitutes….even if it means going toe to toe with her own party.
Well, so much for my vote in November. Looks like I'll be staying home.
ReplyDeleteWow. There goes his inexperience argument against Obama.

Someone left a comment on the WaPo article which said
ReplyDelete"McCain/Palin 2008: A MILF we can believe in"
Ha!
That said, this is such a transparently cynical move on McCain's part. Makes me throw up in my mouth a little.
actually - contrary to both McCain and Obama, she has been running a state, not just voting on bills

When I watched her give that sound-bite on TV last week (granted it was an interview from a month ago), my jaw hit the floor. That's really bad!
